Event Overview

Being Zero Coding League 2.0 (BZCL 2.0) is a competitive coding event focused on logic, algorithms, and problem-solving. Along with standard coding rounds, it includes specially designed contests that test practical thinking and skills rarely assessed in typical competitions, providing participants with a well-rounded and challenging competitive experience.

  • Top 3 performers from each College/University will be awarded the College Top Performer certificate, subject to participation in the Ascent Round and performance in the Summit Round.

    All Ignite round qualifiers who paid the β‚Ή199 sincerity fee are eligible.

  • Certificate of Recognition for the Top 7 overall performers who demonstrated consistent excellence across all three Skill Forge rounds.
Important Rules

The contest will be conducted in secure proctored mode. The following activities are strictly monitored:

  • Tab switching
  • Escaping full-screen mode
  • Keyboard violations

Any violation will result in automatic expulsion from the contest. Use of unfair means, plagiarism, or external assistance is prohibited. Decisions taken by the organizing team will be final and binding.

Is there any registration fee?

The Skill Forge 1 and Ignite Round are open to all interested students and does not require any registration fee.

Further rounds are conducted only for shortlisted candidates.

From Ascent Round onwards, a nominal sincerity fee of β‚Ή199 (one-time) will be applicable.

What are the contest rules and restrictions?

The contest will run in secure mode.

You are not allowed to:

  • Log in from multiple devices
  • Exit full screen
  • Right-click or switch tabs/windows
  • Use AI-generated solutions
  • Copy and sharing of code to another person.

Violations will be flagged for plagiarism and may result in immediate disqualification.

Am I eligible for BZCL, and can 1st-year students with basic coding knowledge participate?

Yes! Any B.Tech/B.E student from any year is eligible to participate.

Even if you're a 1st-year student with only basic coding knowledge, you can still compete and attempt maximum problems.

There are special year-wise rewards, so just give your best. Happy coding!

Which languages are allowed and what are the system requirements?

Allowed Programming Languages:

  • C

  • Java
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • C#

No other programming languages will be supported.

System Requirements:

  • Desktop or laptop computer (mobile devices are not supported)
  • Stable internet connection (Wi-Fi recommended)
  • Google Chrome browser (recommended for optimal proctoring)
  • All browser extensions must be disabled during the contest

Participants are advised to verify their setup in advance to avoid technical issues during the contest.

How are rankings decided?

Rankings are determined based on the following criteria:

  • Score obtained (each problem is assigned a score based on its difficulty level)
  • Time taken to solve each problem
  • Penalties, if applicable, as per contest rules

Final rankings are computed by combining these factors to ensure a fair and competitive evaluation.

Any participant found to have engaged in plagiarism or unfair practices will be immediately disqualified, and their submission will not be considered for ranking.

What if I face technical issues during the contest?

If you face problems like:

  • Internet drop
  • System restart
  • Laptop hang

Report immediately using the contact info provided.

However, extra time cannot be provided, so ensure a stable setup (Latest chrome version, Remove all chrome extensions, Turn off all kinds of notifications).
